As Safety Director, Darren is charged with playing a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all of the workers and visitors on a site as well as developing site-specific safety plans. His primary goal is to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries and to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and laws.
In addition to establishing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures, he is focused on helping to conduct and maintain the onboarding and training programs for new hires and existing staff. Staying versed in industry best practices and attending safety-related conferences and seminars also fall under his responsibilities.
Darren is a graduate of Keene State College and a GSP (Graduate Safety Professional) with a Master of Science (MS) in Safety & Occupational Applied Sciences.
