Art Museum Renovation

Harvard University
Cambridge, Massachusetts

This is the first facility in North America to combine exhibition gallaries with conservation laboratories as well as classrooms. In collaboration with world-renowned architect Renzo Piano, the University underwent a comprehensive renovation and expansion project to create a single state-of-the-art facility that connects the three existing museums: Fogg, Busch-Reisinger, and Sackler.  Based on our extensive experience working in sensitive environments and our long history with Harvard, TG Gallagher installed the plumbing system in the 204,000 SF addition and renovation. To increase productivity, quality, and safety, TG Gallagher utilized offsite prefabrication. The completed project makes Harvard’s prestigious collections more accessible, and encourages their use in the University's interdisciplinary programs.
