Cambridge Health Alliance has over 25 locations spread throughout Massachusetts that encompass primary, specialized, and hospital care centers. The Series V Cooling Towers located at Cambridge Hospital needed a replacement thus Cambridge Health bought Baltimore Air Coil’s new Series 1500 Cooling Towers which were designed to fit in the existing space of the previous equipment located on the 9th floor of the main building. The piping locations were in close proximity to the installation site, allowing for a smooth transition as TG Gallagher removed the old towers and exchanged them for the Series 1500 models. Introducing the new cooling towers not only saved significant energy for the hospital, but also lowered the installed fan from 90 to 30 horsepower and reduced sound levels in each direction.
