TG Gallagher was selected to perform HVAC and Fire Protection for the new ACS Hope Lodge in Boston. The AstraZeneca Hope Lodge Center will annually provide free lodging and support services to more than 1,500 cancer outpatients and their caregivers who must travel far from home for treatment in Boston. This is a LEED project designed to meet the silver medal criteria of the US Green Building Council.

Close coordination with the engineers, commissioning agents and LEED consultants has been required to help value engineer the project to reduce equipment costs. The HVAC scope consists of new heating and cooling systems with boilers, air handler, energy recovery units, chillers, and a cooling tower.
