What Is Safe + Sound Week?
A nationwide event to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs that include management leadership, worker participation, and a systematic approach to finding and fixing hazards in workplaces.
Why We Participate?
Safe workplaces are sound businesses. Successful safety and health programs can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line.
TG Gallagher has been making an effort to adapt our safety culture to incorporate safety into the project planning phase. This shift of safety culture has been proving to help make our jobs run smoother and to have resources onsite prior to the task beginning. With the increased communication between field crews and the safety department, the changing culture has been noticed by general contractors and fellow subs alike.
Participating in Safe + Sound Week provides an opportunity to proactively identify and manage hazards in your workplace before they cause injuries or illnesses. With that being said, the goal this week is to raise awareness and understanding about the value of our safety and health program and how to help further evolve our safety culture.
